Alot has been said about the dangers of E-cigs and Vaping Mods, including the biggest danger which is an explosion of the device midst use. On the other hand, it turns out that you can completely avoid any danger, as long as you follow these simple tips:
Be Familiar With the Brand You’re Using
In any product that you buy, a known brand is a synonym for a higher quality product. The devices that were documented as exploding are products that not much is known about their manufacturers. At times, they were cheap imitations, and sometimes they were just low quality products. So, of course, buying an imitation may be the cheaper option. But, in the long run, a purchase of an Original product with a warranty will give you peace of mind.
Remember – a cheap product, may have a high price in the end.
Read The Instructions
It’s a bit ironic that you are reading these lines, instead of reading the instruction manual of your device, but seriously – reading the instructions is very important. Not all vaping devices are the same, each device has it’s own ways of operating and optimal use, and it is recommended that you know them.
Don’t Let The Atomizer Overheat
The atomizer in your device is the part that is in charge of turning the E-liquid into vapor. It is the most important part and has the most danger potential. When you vape, it is very important not to hold down the power button for too long while inhaling. If you do it, you will cause overheating. It is recommended to not hold the power button for longer than 5 seconds.
Also, try avoiding chain-vaping, as it may harm the entire cartridge. Give your device the time it needs to cool down.
Batteries, Batteries, Batteries
It is no surprise that one of the main elements that can cause a vaping device to explode is it’s battery. We’ve already witnessed it happening in cellular phones and laptop computers. Lithium batteries such as these can explode because of a variety of reasons – overcharging, short circuit, or overheating. Always check that your battery is in orderly and good condition, and even change it if necessary. Avoid trying to buy a cheap imitation – it will end badly.
Don’t Mix Different Electronic Devices
All it takes is one tiny spark to cause a short-circuit in your devices, that will lead to it exploding. So, it is very recommended to avoid charging your device with a charger that is not the charger that it was intended to be charged with (like your phone charger, for instance). Use only original parts and accessories.
